Mercedes tire theft; wallet stolen from night club

An unknown suspect entered the unlocked police blotter bug garage of a Catawba Avenue residence and stole, among other items, a Mercedes tire and rim valued at $1,000. Meanwhile, police investigate the theft of a woman’s wallet at Liquid Lounge on Kenton Drive. Read on for details. 

SATURDAY, JAN. 24, 6:59am, 19310 One Norman Blvd. – While turning, a car sideswiped the front of a parked car, then collided with the right rear quarter panel of another parked vehicle. The impact pushed the second vehicle into the right of the car next to it, which was also pushed into the neighboring car. Having caused a collision with four parked cars, the driver left the scene, and dispatch was unable to find footage on any of the traffic cameras.

SUNDAY, JAN. 25, 11:32am, Jetton Road between Meta Road and Stableford Dr. – A westbound driver struck a deer when it ran into the roadway. No injuries were reported.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 28, 3:12pm, 18500 block West Catawba Ave. – Around 2:55pm, an unknown suspect walked into the victim’s unlocked detached garage and stole a commercial jack, a tool box, and a Mercedes tire and rim valued at a combined $1,500.00.

THURSDAY, JAN. 29, 8:18am, 18600 Northline Dr. – Sometime between Jan. 28 at 6pm and Jan. 29 at 6am, an unknown suspect broke into a work vehicle at Surface Products, a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup. Missing were a cordless drill set valued at $900, a $1,000 seam machine, and a $315 sink saver. The total loss of stolen property and damage to the vehicle is estimated at $6,430.

FRIDAY, JAN. 30, 10:27am, 9200 Ducati Ln. – Between 6pm on Jan. 29 and 10:27am Jan. 30, an unknown suspect damaged the the top right windshield, bottom right windshield, front right dust cover and the front right rim of his black Ford F-150. The damage totaled $1,000.

SUNDAY, FEB. 1, 4:24am, Liquid Lounge, 17036 Kenton Dr. – The victim stated that between 1:15 and 1:20am, an unknown suspect stole her tan Coach wallet, valued at $400, from her purse. The wallet contained approximately $400-600 cash, a Wells Fargo debit card, the victim’s driver’s license, and miscellaneous gift cards.
