MONDAY, FEB. 2, 11:12am, Premier Workforce, 18708 W. Catawba Ave. – The victim stated that between 9:10-11:10am unknown suspect(s) smashed the passenger side window of his 2014 Ford F-150, causing an estimated $400 in damage, and stole a .40 caliber Glock handgun valued at $549, as well as a $50 holster.
MONDAY, FEB. 2, 1:15pm, 19500 West Catawba Ave. – Between 9am and 1:05pm, an unknown suspect(s) broke through the front window of the victim’s black Chevy Suburban, causing $250 in damage and stealing a MacBook Pro valued at $1,417, as well as a Toshiba laptop valued at approximately $1,000.
MONDAY, FEB. 2, 4:05pm, 17570 block of Tuscany Lane, Vineyard Point – Between 12:54-4pm on Feb. 2, an unknown suspect entered a residence and stole a $1,500 woman’s wedding band, a $200 man’s wedding band, a $300 Samsung tablet, a $150 M1 racing watch, and other items. The stolen items are valued at a combined $2,353.
TUESDAY, FEB. 3, 7:30am, Beneteau Court, Crealock Place, Catamaran Court in Blue Stone Harbor – Unknown suspect(s) broke into seven unlocked vehicles. Nothing was stolen from two of the cars, but a $1,500 Bundy saxophone was stolen from one of the cars, and $510 in sports equipment was stolen from another.
TUESDAY, FEB. 3, 11:20am, Lake Town Tavern, 19708-K West Catawba Ave – Between Feb. 1 and Feb. 3, unknown suspect(s) smashed the passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle, causing $300 in damage, and stole a Garmin GPS valued at $150.
TUESDAY, FEB. 3, 9:03pm, Westmoreland Lake Dr. toward Rosalyn Glen Road – A black four-door Toyota ran off the left side of the road after attempting a right turn, striking a stop sign and driving 25 feet over the lawn of 9303 Rosalyn Glen. Neighbors saw the vehicle back off the yard and flee the scene down Rosalyn Glen. Police searched the area but were unable to find the vehicle.
THURSDAY, FEB. 5, 6:30am, 19500 block Center St. – Between 7pm on Feb. 4 and 6:20am on Feb. 5, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked tan Toyota Sienna van and stole two GPS devices and $50 cash. The estimated total value of items stolen is $200.
THURSDAY, FEB. 5, 9:33am, Lake Norman Car Wash, 20833 Catawba Ave. – Between Feb. 2 and Feb. 5, unknown suspect(s) broke into three vacuum cleaner machines at the Lake Norman car wash by prying open the doors. They caused $300 in damage, and took $2 in coins.
THURSDAY, FEB. 5, 8:55pm, 18700 block Nantz Rd. – A Nantz road resident said an unknown suspect stole his black .45-caliber Heckler & Koch firearm, valued at $1,400, from his residence, as well as a $50 holster.
FRIDAY, FEB. 6, 8:41pm, 19305 W. Catawba Ave. – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, and upon investigation discovered the driver in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, oxycontin, and other schedule 2 and schedule 4 controlled substances. The driver was arrested on a charge of drug possession.
SATURDAY, FEB. 7, 3:13pm, I-77 N on-ramp at Exit 28 – The victim stated that a known suspect assaulted him by pointing a gun at him and “reckless driving to endanger.”
