A Cornelius man was killed early Saturday after he stepped out of his car on I-77 in Fort Mill, SC, and was struck by another car.
Stephen Moshier, 57, of Cornelius, died of his injuries in the wreck, which happened at 12:45am at Mile 89 of I-77 northbound.
The SC Highway Patrol said Moshier had been involved in a separate wreck a short time before, and stopped his Hyundai Genesis on the roadside. As he stepped out of his car to check on the other driver in the wreck, he was struck and killed by a passing Huntersville driver in a 2014 Honda, according to the highway patrol.
Nobody has been charged in the incident.
